Version 7.1 of Auralia now includes integrated YouTube video support!

This is great for incorporating pop and contemporary based content in your ear training curriculum.  You can embed any YouTube videos in your Auralia questions, worksheets and syllabi, and teach theory and aural concepts using diverse musical examples.. world music, movie soundtracks, video game music, musical theatre, pop music, western art music, and much more.

Of course this release also includes the new features and content in Version 7.0 of Auralia and Musition!

YouTube Support

  • YouTube playback during questions (downloaded software and browser!) (2521)
  • YouTube links are saved and tagged in the Auralia library - search by artist, decade, diversity
  • Add your own YouTube videos to the library
  • Create YouTube excerpts to be used in your custom library questions

Other Changes

  • MusicXML import now supports Chord Symbols (2202)

  • Tests, Courses and Syllabi can now be hidden, reducing 'clutter' for instructors (5233, 5600)

  • Various report issues resolved (5564, 5713, 5715, 5716, 5718)
