Issue

YouTube videos wont play in Auralia & Musition and display this message "sign in to confirm you're not a bot". YouTube has started to aggressively target certain networks with this requirement.  Sometimes this is related to the downloading of videos or use of VPNs on the school network.

Solution

Auralia & Musition offer a 'YouTube Sign In' option for any relevant questions (there is a button at the start of each test and also under each YouTube video in a test). If you have a Google/YouTube account you can select that link and sign in (or create a new account). Then refresh the Auralia/Musition page and the YouTube video should be available.

Alternately, if you are on the campus wifi, please try disconnecting and reconnecting. You will get a different IP address and then it may work. You can also try connecting to a different network (eg hotspot on your phone or home internet).
